Consumer Banking is embarking on an exciting multi-year transformation journey, investing in innovative strategies to enhance customer engagement and deliver exceptional omnichannel experiences. We are seeking a dynamic Consumer Banking Product Business Operations Manager to lead this charge. We are looking for a leader who thinks holistically about business, product, technology and data.

As a Business Operations Manager in our Consumer Banking Product team you will have strong strategy development, project management skills, and be a results-oriented leader who is structured, highly organized, creative, have high analytical skills, and flexibly adapt to a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to work well across a broad organization and matrixed environment are also critical skillsets. You will work and collaborate closely with various key business areas and functional partners in Product, Finance, Data & Analytics, etc.

Job responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with the Consumer Bank Head of Product to drive strategic initiatives and business management.
  • Coordinates multiple workstreams including overall Business Management, Financial Management (to include headcount & expense management), Objectives & Key Results, and Product & Omnichannel Operating Model.
  • Champions team culture through planning, team-building activities, and communication strategies.
  • Partners with Communications to manage internal and external communications, articulating the team's vision, progress, and success metrics.
  • Establishes management routines and develop content for stakeholder engagement, including Business Reviews and Executive Reporting.

Required qualifications, skills and capabilities:

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in strategy, consulting, product, and/or business management.
  • Demonstrated senior leadership in terms of attitude, initiative, and inclusivity with strong influencing skills.
  • Ability to analyze and synthesize opportunities & problems, recommend solutions and communicate effectively and confidently to a senior business audience (both verbal and written).
  • Client oriented with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and partners. Exemplary problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize issues and analysis; strong organizational skills and detail-orientation, comfort juggling a dynamic and complex piece of work.
  • Self-motivated with a commitment to continuously improve both professionally and to work through organizational change via process improvements, driven to challenge the status quo. Ability to get up to speed quickly on new, complex subject matter spanning product, technology, finance, business management and other key topics.
  • Expert in Microsoft PowerPoint and executive presentation building skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and implement change in a fast paced, complex environment while promoting a strong control environment by adhering to risk/control expectations, procedures, and processes.
  • Willingness to travel for business (~10%).

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Knowledge of Agile methodology is a plus
  • Solid knowledge of JPMC's business model, organization structure and performance metrics
