As an Analytics Lead, VP on the Consumer Business Sales Sciences team you will deliver analytically driven recommendations to field leaders on how to strategically evolve our retail branch distribution.

Job Summary:

The Consumer Bank Sales Science team provides expertise in data science & analytics to improve banker productivity and optimize sales performance. The team leverages industry-leading tools, processes and analytics to convert data into meaningful insights that enable Consumer Bank's sales leadership to drive value and an excellent customer experience for their business programs.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on answering the challenging strategic questions on how to grow & evolve our Consumer Bank retail distribution. This will include, but not exclusive to, new branch designs, optimization clients across sales distributions, and job role designs to maximize the client experience and the firm's profitability.

Job responsibilities

  • Work in a cross functional environment with a variety of stakeholders including business partners, Finance, Strategy, Controls, Workforce Planning, etc.
  • Develop new strategies, tests, channels and regional/national pilot programs.
  • Practically solve real business problems, not just boosting model performance curves.
  • Create and present recommendations to senior management and influence multiple stakeholders.
  • Hands-on analytics work.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Master's degree or PhD in related field.
  • 5+ years of experience with an analytical programming language (R/Python).
  • 5+ years of experience in relational databases including proficiency in SQL, Teradata, and/or Snowflake
  • Experience with dynamic and interactive reporting/visualization applications such as Tableau
  • Proficient in standard data mining and analytical methods
  • Strong analytics, interpretive and problem solving skills
  • Strong communicator who can translate technical topics into intuitive business language.
  • Consulting orientation ability to influence both internal & external business partners.
  • Experience working in a fast paced environment with the ability to deliver at a high level while juggling a large book of work.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Excellent understanding of experimental design, A/B and multivariate testing, and matched pairs analytics
  • Offshore team management experience is a plus.
