Job Summary:

As a Senior Associate within the Global Financial Crimes Compliance (GFCC) team, you will partner effectively with sector, regional, and core colleagues, as well as Lines of Business (LOBs). This position requires strong organizational skills and a deep understanding of data governance and change management. It is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in data management to contribute to the development and execution of compliance strategies.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Govern data within GFCC systems and support firmwide data governance strategy, including data classification, quality review, and protection.
  • Collaborate with Coverage Strategy, Financial Crime Analytics, and GFCC Advisory teams to understand monitoring needs and identify requirements.
  • Communicate data quality and change management strategies to senior stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment.
  • Develop and maintain standards, programs, and procedures for Change Management, Data Governance, and Data Quality.
  • Challenge lines of business to implement robust data controls and governance frameworks.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions to promote data governance awareness.
  • Serve as a liaison between GFCC and other departments, driving improvements in data integration.
  • Support project plans tied to regulatory commitments and participate in strategy execution.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve anti-financial crime strategies.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Understanding of the Firm's products, customers, and transaction processes.
  • Familiarity with Product/Service and Technology Change Management practices.
  • Knowledge of Firmwide Data Program standards and procedures.
  • Ability to communicate strategies and deliverables clearly to senior stakeholders.
  • Experience in developing standards and procedures for data governance and quality.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Experience with product, technology, and operations teams in a financial institution.
  • Familiarity with change management approaches in financial services.
  • Proven experience in a regulatory environment, preferably in a large financial institution.
  • Knowledge of data quality processes and governance.
