We are seeking a highly motivated individual who will play a crucial part in supporting the firm's Securities Services business where you will work on key projects with high profile clients. As a dynamic and driven professional, you will play a pivotal role in the Fund Services team where you will have an opportunity to elevate your career to the next level.
As an Associate in the Client Tax Operations team, you will be responsible for the provision of tax services to both internal and external clients, including managing client's tax queries and deliverables. In your new role, you will utilise your strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You will be required to work together with others in the Tax Services team and others within the organisation to ensure the delivery of our products and services are of high quality. You will also be required to provide support on a broad range of tax related projects and new product development.

Job responsibilities
- Deliver a full range of tax services and reporting to internal and external client, including review of supplementary tax reporting.
- Liaise with clients on their tax reporting requirements and tax queries
- Build and maintain internal and external client relationships, acting as a subject matter expert for tax related queries
- Provide support on specific projects relating to clients, process improvements and product development
- Identify and mitigate operational risks associated with tax reporting and processes
- Share knowledge and actively develop self and others in the team
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. Accounting/Finance/Law)
- Effective analytical and problem solving skills
- Achievement orientated, strong attention to detail and focus on continuous process improvement
- Effective communication skills and ability to work together in partnership with stakeholders
- Ability to work autonomously and high degree of accountability for own work
- Client focused and the ability to adapt to change
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5 years' experience in tax, preferably gained in a custody, professional accounting or financial services environment
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)/Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification or Masters of Tax is highly desirable
