As a Client Tax Associate II within the Client Tax Documentation (CTDO) team, you will be part of a team that processes United States (U.S.) Internal Revenue Service (IRS) tax forms and Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) Common Reporting Standards self-certifications for the Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB), Commercial Bank (CB), and Consumer and Community Bank (CCB). You will manage client tax profile renewal statuses for entity and account-level withholding tax and regulatory reporting. You will consistently deliver operational excellence by streamlining processes through intelligent automation and reorganization, and implementing strategic technology to enhance quality, speed, and client satisfaction. You will be involved in a global function with Tax Documentation teams located in Delaware, San Antonio, Bangalore, and Mumbai. You will work closely with Client On-Boarding, Middle Offices, Credit, Legal, and Tax Compliance teams to ensure accurate data capture within the JP Morgan infrastructure, providing a unique opportunity to contribute to a global function and collaborate with diverse teams to drive efficiency and accuracy in tax documentation processes.

Job responsibilities
- Develop and support the client solicitation for tax documentation including executing daily work and implementing changes to comply to tax regulations including FATCA and Common Reporting Standard (CRS)
- Lead, develop, multi-task and meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment
- Make independent 'client-centric' and judgement decisions
- Develop and oversee the operating model and execution plan to drive the annual solicitation process including execution of Business as Usual (BAU) requirements, data sourcing and analysis, reconciliations, and key data integrity controls
- Coordinate the production of current year solicitation populations across CIB, CB and CCB globally including account level solicitations including completion of Adhoc analysis to meet regulatory requirements by deadline
- Partner with internal data source providers and stakeholders across lines of business to complete investigations and resolve data quality issues with the goal of improving the timeliness and accuracy of the solicitation as well as the response rate from clients on a continual basis
- Address and resolve internal or regulatory requests by conducting ad hoc data analysis or generating custom reports as needed
- Maintain annual expiry procedure documentation (ex. runbooks) required to help drive control-centric environment
- Maintain/Create and own solicitation procedure documents including runbook, Frequently Asked Question (FAQ) documents and external website and help drive control-centric environment
- Create and manage citizen development tools to enhance the annual solicitation experience ex. SharePoint Repositories, Alteryx, Mailmaven
- Collaborate with cross line of business partners CIB, CB and CCB including sales and service teams and stakeholders to agree on roles and responsibilities, population and contact data, messaging, and process to complete the solicitation effectively
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5+ years business process or project management experience
- College degree or equivalent work experience
- Self-starter with out-of-the box problem solving skills able to work in a fast paced, results driven environment
- Solid time management skills, with the ability to multi-task and keep numerous tasks on track
- High-level research and data mining skills a must
- Proficiency with MS Office applications (Excel, Power Point, Word)
- Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work with diverse personnel and stakeholders regionally and globally
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to manage tasks under challenging targets and effectively handle change in priorities and focus on a day-to-day basis
- Promote a strong control culture throughout the team
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Knowledge of Investment Bank, Commercial Bank or Consumer & Community Bank businesses would be an advantage
- Knowledge of US and non-US Regulations (including Tax) a plus
