Client Solutions Architect - Payments - Vice President

As a Client Solutions Architect in Commercial Card, you are an integral part of a team that innovates and supports the technical adoption of comprehensive product solutions for clients with complex challenges. Leveraging your technical expertise in specific products and industries, you develop viable solutions that add value to clients, track how clients are using our products, and ensure results are realized.

You will be a subject matter expert and work directly with clients and partners to advise on product and technical integration approaches, as well as lead proactive strategies in pursuance of exceptional customer experience. You will be key in establishing a feedback loop to the product management team, leveraging your client insights to influence future initiatives and priorities. Additionally, you will understand product and technology trends, partner closely with internal and vendor product and technology teams to drive an innovation roadmap to support the continued growth of Commercial Card's products.

Job responsibilities

  • Lead the configuration and modification of the firm's products and solutions, often in partnership with Technology, to fit complex client use cases
  • Engage with technical members of client teams to deliver presentations and technical demonstrations on product capabilities and solutions
  • Identify and define development requirements for product design enhancements based on client feedback
  • Provide consultation to prospects, clients, and partners on integration strategies and best practices
  • Support Sales in solutioning and mandating deal stages for pricing, pipeline planning, and account planning
  • Guide the creation of system-to-system integration channels, including Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), and the development and testing required to meet the highest standards in integration design
  • Anticipate future challenges, devise strategies to address, initiate and guide actions as necessary to sustain a stable product with positive client outcomes
  • Own ongoing operation and growth of the product including serving as a technical subject matter expert and a primary contact for the product roadmap
  • Provide oversight of end-to-end client experience, including management of client servicing strategy, adherence to servicing level agreements, and assistance in resolving questions/customer escalations
  • Actively assist to create a positive team culture, ensure the adoption of an agile mindset, and support team development and transformation

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Proven expertise in working across a related broad set of products
  • Demonstrated ability to apply a deep technical understanding to solution configurations in a specific domain
  • Experience working with clients in a technology field and interfacing with engineers
  • Technical acumen as it relates to APIs, system integration, solution architectures, and configurations
  • Proven analytical and creative problem solving skills - able to work through ambiguity, assimilate data from multiple sources, derive meaningful insights, and propose actionable strategies
  • Analytical thinker with financial acumen and ability to interpret results and key performance metrics to drive change and deliver financial results
  • Experience supporting Sales in pricing, pipeline planning, and account planning
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills including the ability to effectively organize and communicate complex information
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence internal and external partners; self-motivated with the ability to effectively prioritize multiple initiatives
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Computer Science background
  • Experience supporting sales/field coverage organizations and sales/field coverage leadership
  • Project management acumen
  • Technical product management experience
  • Commercial card or treasury payments experience
