Job Summary:

The Regulatory Support team is a dedicated group of internal and client facing resources that are focused on 3 main pillars:

  • Onboarding and query management for client reporting services (currently EMIR, MIFID II and SFTR), plus associated controls, MIS and process improvements
  • Ensuring the correct regulatory documentation is in place to enable our clients to trade with JP Morgan entities
  • Deliver against large scale change initiatives that span across business units to address Industry, Business and Client requirements across the Markets Operations organization. This includes process and system transformation as well as client outreach and interaction.
  • The team provides a unique mix of project skills and product experience that are not tied to a specific business unit enabling it to provide a consistent, high-quality and responsive approach to the way we manage and execute change across the Corporate and Investment Bank.

    As part of the role you will need to effectively partner with numerous teams such as FO (Trading, Sales, and Business Management), Sales Support, Legal, Compliance, Middle Office and IB wide PMO teams on a daily basis.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Owning and managing a client list related to the reporting services onboarding and queries
    • Devising efficient, standardised processes to track onboarding of clients to regulatory protocols and services, and any associated incoming queries
    • Dealing with internal and external queries in relation to regulatory protocols, providing a central point of contact
    • Assisting in education around the decision trees for regulatory requirements to trade with various counterparties
    • Extensive interaction with Front Office (Sales and Trading), Compliance, Business Management, Legal, Credit Risk, Operations and Technology teams
    • Participation in regular internal meetings to review upcoming initiatives and priorities, as well as BAU issues and escalation
    • Performing data analysis and remediation exercises to contribute to new and ongoing initiatives
    • Owning and managing control reconciliations and MIS production and dissemination
    • Manage client outreach initiatives

    Required Qualifications, Experience and Capabilities:

    • Previous investment banking experience required
    • Experience and strong product knowledge of derivative products 3 years experience
    • Previous experience in a regulatory role
    • Experience in managing initiatives/ projects
    • Client interaction in a previous role
    • Understanding of client reference data desirable
    • Regulatory reporting experience desirable
    • Excellent delivery record in previous roles, ability to manage changing priorities and high volume processes
