As a Client Operations Associate II within the Client Account Services (CAS) Custody Service (SVC) Delivery Team, you will act as a subject matter expert in market entry and handle advanced and complex customer onboarding. You will consult with businesses and clients to meet deliverables by recommending and selecting appropriate courses of action. You will guide clients through market entry requirements, particularly in complex and emerging markets, by proactively managing market renewals, remediation, restructuring, reorganization, name changes, and transition processes. You will leverage your diverse perspective and expertise in tools such as Tableau and Alteryx to contribute to developing innovative solutions for our clients and the team. You will collaborate with key internal partners involved in the market entry process to ensure seamless client delivery and identify opportunities for process improvement, with a strong emphasis on quality and timeliness.

Job responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end market account opening process for clients in complex emerging market countries, providing guidance on market entry and documentation requirements
- Review and analyze market documents with clients and collaborate with local sub-custodians to finalize local market account openings in accordance with market SLAs, adhering to established procedures
- Track market account openings and other name change/merger activities against market SLAs, ensuring full compliance with department standards for managing and monitoring all client requests
- Drive automation and digital tools strategy by identifying efficiencies and implementing solutions
- Develop innovative and creative solutions to solve complex, real-world business challenges
- Utilize data and visualization to influence decision-making and drive business results
- Adopt the Skills of the Future Program to rapidly excel in an ever-changing environment
- Work proactively with clients to drive standardization and optimization, enabling us to meet a dynamic and complex agenda with agility
- Foster a culture where Diversity & Inclusion are integral to everyday interactions
- Assist clients through market restructures, fund mergers, name changes, and transition processes by providing analysis and collaborating with local sub-custodians to offer clients options
- Partner with CAS Coordination members to provide a seamless client experience and support for market entry
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in market entry, client onboarding, or a related area
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Tableau and Alteryx
- High-level analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with complex and emerging markets
- Familiarity with market entry documentation and regulatory requirements
- Experience in driving process improvements and automation initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
