JPMorgan Chase's Receivables Operations division supports lockbox services delivered to Wholesale (Corporate), Public Sector State Government, and Federal Government clients. Our division enables customers to outsource their accounts receivable functions by accepting traditional paper-based payments, digitizing supporting documents, and capturing key information on their behalf. Our clients value our ability to expedite the collection of payments by quickly depositing checks that are \"in the mail\" into the biller's account. Receivables Operations is fundamentally a people-driven process, with several initiatives underway to utilize emerging technologies to further expedite delivery to our clients. As a Communication Specialist within the Public Sector Lockbox Team at JPMorgan Chase, you will craft and disseminate information, promoting the team's image, mission, and objectives. In this role, you are expected to be a strategic thinker with meticulous attention to detail, capable of working well under pressure and meeting deadlines. You will collaborate with subject matter experts and interface with multiple support teams, including Business Analysts, Business Managers, and Technology Partners, to develop internal messaging and communications to support business initiatives.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to manage our internal communications. Strong writing and editing abilities, proficiency in various communication channels, and basic graphic design knowledge for creating engaging content are required. Communicating complex information in a clear, concise, and accurate way is crucial in this role. If you are a natural storyteller, poised, and a flexible team player who is comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment, then this is the role for you.
Responsibilities:
- Project manage major communications initiatives.
- Utilize internal tools to track engagement of internal communications and offer advice on the best strategy for reaching employees.
- Research, write, and edit content with clear, compelling messaging, including SharePoint content, newsletters, emails, and more to be distributed across a variety of channels.
- Ensure internal communications messaging is consistent and accurate across our business.
- Clearly communicate complex ideas and initiatives for a diverse audience.
- Develop and manage communication plans and strategies.
- Collaborate with key internal role-players to brainstorm content ideas in line with the operation's strategy and in support of various brand initiatives.
- Support and evaluate results of communications with the team.
- Gather feedback from internal and external sources to create and update content.
- Support the operation sites during system and production implementation of new procedures and processes.
- Demonstrate flexibility in supporting 24-hour operations.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- 3 years of Communications experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field (essential).
- Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively convey complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Embrace, understand, and communicate diverse perspectives ranging from frontline workers to leadership.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Produce urgent communications on demand.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
- Accept feedback and make necessary changes with minimal oversight.
- Demonstrate proficiency in using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint.
- Recognize and respond well to changing priorities.
- Multi-task, meet deadlines, and work independently.

Additional Requirements:
- Work Schedule: Monday - Friday / 8am - 5pm, with flexibility to accommodate business needs.
