Job Summary:
As a Check Services Associate within our Operations Team, you will be responsible for managing both transactional and non-transactional processing of checks. Your role will also involve handling escalations and maintaining robust partnerships with our business, technology, and operations teams. Leveraging technology to support processing activities and ensuring compliance with risk and regulatory standards will be a key part of your role. Furthermore, you will be expected to understand the broader impact of your work and contribute to process improvements.

Job Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate expertise with check products and account types.
- Perform business-as-usual (BAU) transactional and non-transactional processing.
- Manage escalations and exception processing effectively.
- Protect and nurture relationships with business, technology, and operations partners.
- Gain familiarity with technology supporting processing and relationships.
- Understand the upstream and downstream impacts of processing activities.
- Consider risk, regulation, procedure, and policy in all processing and behavior.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Operations experience in cash or securities.
- FINRA S99 License or ability to obtain within 120 days.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Ability to analyze self, team, partners, and processing to communicate improvements.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing team needs.
- Ability to maintain relationships with processing requirements.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Proficient in intelligent automation tools (Alteryx, Tableau, or Python).
- Proficient in Visio.
- Client services experience.
- Reconciliation experience.
