Embark on an exciting career journey as our Channel Marketing Sr. Associate where you will provide onsite event support primarily associated with firm wide sponsorships in the sports and entertainment category (US Open, PGA, concerts and sporting events). In addition you will provide support for all events/experiential activations serving audiences above and beyond Sports and Entertainment programs.

As a Channel Marketing Sr. Associate in our dynamic team, you will be tasked to support our sales team and their ultra-high net worth clients with experiential/bespoke activations. In addition, you will work with affluent clients, understanding the bespoke experiences that will help reinforce the value in working with JPMorgan Chase. You should be able to operate in a highly matrixed organization and collaborate across functions to develop and deliver innovative client experiences. The position provides a unique opportunity to partner closely with JPMC teams across the firm as well as departments within the business.

Job responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Brand Management team/internal Legal, Compliance, and Risk teams to develop client invitations and event materials for all events/experiences/S&E and ensure they are used appropriately by the field
  • Work closely with the regional teams to oversee and execute superiorly run events using USWM guidelines
  • Create pre and post event briefs for before and after each event
  • Collaborate with communications teams to execute detailed communication plans designed to communicate and promote events
  • Work with field representatives to ensure the appropriate clients and prospects are invited to events, and ensure client invites and attendees are tracked and work with the analytics teams to track events and communicate success metrics on a regular basis
  • Maintain, communicate and track event successes on a daily basis
  • Work with the Third Party Oversight and Compliance teams on all contracts and agreements and maintain and adhere to budgets
  • Write and present Business Cases to support event budget concepts to receive approval of event strategies
  • Work with Accounts Payable to process invoices and track expenses
  • Manage and maintain (order and ship) promotional giveaways
  • Produce ad-hoc event reports for business needs

Required qualification, capabilities, and skills:

  • 5+ years prior experience in event planning, including vendor contract negotiations and processes; Bachelors degree in Communication, Journalism, Marketing or another field of study
  • Understand the needs and expectations of an affluent client; discretion around private client information a must.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills; experience planning and executing large-scale and smaller-scale events that are brand-relevant and very high quality.
  • Can work as a true partner across multiple teams/organizations to deliver on sought after S&E/experiences.
  • A passion for detail and an ability to think creatively is critical.
  • Takes ownership, exercises strong judgment. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team to ensure the needs of the group are met.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Able to think and react quickly during event execution and work fluidly when overseeing events.
  • Willingness to work in fast-paced environment and beyond traditional business hours when necessary. Ability to travel (could be 40%).
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, Word & PowerPoint.

Preferred qualification, capabilities, and skills:

  • Experience in media, marketing or the Wealth Management industry
  • Design background or use of design systems
