Chase Branded Cards are an integral part of millions of American wallets, giving consumers rewards and benefits that matter to them, like competitive cash-back with Freedom Unlimited, lower interest rates with Slate Edge, rewards, and access with Sapphire Preferred® and Sapphire Reserve®. Chase Branded Cards also provides small business owners with competitive cash-back and rewards through the Ink product line. We are building a new go-to-market team to lead the development of Branded Card's strategic roadmap for product launches and refreshes and be jointly accountable for successful in-market launches.

Job Summary:

As a key member of the Go-to-Market team in Chase Branded Cards, you will support Chase Branded Card's strategic plan and product roadmap of refreshes and launches across the Slate, Freedom, Sapphire, and Ink product lines. You will collaborate with the product leads for each product line and support key work streams. The team's remit is to identify key strategic issues and drive them to resolution, create an evergreen framework to launching/refreshing card products in market, and work across functional teams to ensure successful execution of the Chase Branded Cards plan. You will be a critical participant in continuing to provide market-leading value to millions of consumers and small businesses through the card products they love

Job responsibilities:

  • Support development of Chase Branded Cards' evergreen 5-year Strategic Plan and Product Roadmap, including financial and operational impacts.
  • Support the creation of a repeatable framework for continuously managing the pipeline of product refreshes and launches across Chase Branded Cards.
  • Help identify and solve strategic issues impacting the execution of the Product Roadmap, frame them for senior leaders, make recommendations and drive to resolution.
  • Identify bottlenecks and executional challenges impacting the Product Roadmap (for example, capability gaps, cross-functional readiness, or organizational challenges) and support driving them to resolution.
  • Support tracking the capabilities and product features critical to each segment (starter, mass affluent, affluent, and small business) so that the holistic Product Roadmap is effective in meeting customer needs.
  • Lead go to market efforts for Chase Branded Cards portfolios, developing and delivering comprehensive plans that amplify our impact across customer facing channels
  • Build strong relationships across the Chase Branded Card product teams, business partners (Finance, Compliance, Legal, Risk), and cross functional teams (Product, Tech, Connected Commerce).

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Proven ability to develop high impact strategies, lead complex initiatives, and deliver results. Ability to challenge status quo and spot gaps/opportunities, create structure and clarity out of ambiguity and complexity.
  • Proactive, flexible, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, comfortable with ambiguity and white space. Extremely collaborative and able to work across leadership levels, teams, functions, and situations.
  • Strategic: ability to see the big picture and understand the holistic card strategy and 5 year plan, and how its moving pieces fit together to deliver long term shareholder and customer goals.
  • Customer focus: service-oriented, with an eye toward both external (Card members) and internal (Card product leaders) customers. Identifies customer needs and focuses on meeting those needs effectively.
  • Detail oriented and execution focused, with a proven ability to lead complex initiatives and deliver results in a complex, highly matrixed environment without direct control of resources. Not afraid to roll up sleeves and get into the details to get the job done.
  • Analytical: can identify issues, structure the problem clearly, frame the decision and trade-offs, leverage data and financial analysis to inform recommendations, develop buy-in, and drive to resolution with key stakeholders.
  • Product: experience developing or leading products, preferably financial products, or capabilities in complex environment with multiple releases and inter-dependencies.
  • Leadership: growth mindset, collaborative, positively contributes to team culture. Proven track record of motivating team and partners towards accomplishing a common goal
  • Stakeholder engagement: strong communication skills and ability to influence and collaborate across a highly matrixed organization.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Experience in Go-to-Market, product development, product leadership, strategy consulting, corporate development or similar roles preferred.
  • We are seeking talent at both 603 (5 or more years of experience) and 602 (3 or more years of experience) levels to lead key projects on the Go to Market team in Chase Branded Cards
  • MBA or equivalent preferred
