Job responsibilities

  • Drive independent evaluation of capital management activities.
  • Assess capital risk for new business initiatives and reorganizations.
  • Analyze capital metrics and create presentations for senior management.
  • Monitor capital metrics and escalate breaches with suggested actions.
  • Participate in stress scenario design and stress-testing exercises.
  • Conduct analyses on factors affecting the firm's capital.
  • Use analytical techniques to enhance capital metric monitoring.
  • Collaborate with various teams to leverage expertise.
  • Embrace innovation and suggest process improvements.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience in capital, liquidity, or market risk.
  • Knowledge of financial markets and asset classes.
  • Understanding of balance sheets and income statements.
  • Adaptable with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills for diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong academic background with a bachelor's degree.
  • 3 years' experience in Risk or Capital Management.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • CFA/FRM designation is helpful but not required.
