Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) Business Resiliency's mission is to continuously improve our businesses' ability to provide outstanding products and services to our customers in the event of any disruption. The team partners with business stakeholders to develop their resiliency plans, test their strategies and support them through real events.

As a Business Resiliency Manager within the Corporate & Investment Bank Business Resiliency team, you will be reporting to the Business Resiliency Strategy Program Lead, assisting in the implementation of strategic Business Resiliency initiatives. Your role will involve ensuring our engagements are effective and aligned with the firm's heightened expectations and those of external parties. Furthermore, you will act as a culture carrier, fostering an inclusive team environment where you challenge, support, and develop others.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support execution of the CIB resiliency strategic agenda, partnering closely with global stakeholders and the Firmwide Resiliency team
  • Develop a cohesive and effective partnership with business and operations
  • Proactively manage resiliency risks to incorporate appropriate mitigations and controls
  • Engage with control stakeholders including 2nd and 3rd lines of defense

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Change Management experience with the ability to thrive in a rapidly evolving environment and to effectively manage effects of change to people, structure or technology
  • Initiative-driven and self-motivated, able to realize the need for change and seek feasible solutions.
  • Analytical problem solving skills, thinking through problems or situations in a systematic way
  • Ability to effectively communicate in a collaborative way, ensuring understanding and maintaining audience attention.
  • Relationship building across functions and geographies to expand influence and knowledge
  • Decision making skills, able to identify, assess and select different courses of action
  • Flexibility to work well both as an individual and as part of a team
  • Strong PC skills (Microsoft Suite including PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Visio)
  • Strong prioritization, planning and time management skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with management and drive results in a matrixed management environment.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:

  • Experience in an investment banking Regulatory, Compliance or Operational team
  • Business Resiliency, Operational & Crisis Management experience
  • Knowledge of compliance, audit, risk and operational management concepts
  • Successful track record of delivering results;
  • Attested track record of working to deadlines, with accountability and responsibility for independent workload
