The Deputy Director of Global Sustainability leads a centralized team responsible for strategic engagements with business lines and corporate functions, oversight and advisory for sustainability targets, and external engagement.

As a Business Manager in Global Sustainability, Strategy and Operations, you will play a crucial role in driving strategic initiatives and analytics. You will conduct thorough data analyses, leading and executing various ad-hoc projects, and preparing materials and reports for senior audiences. You will collaborate with senior leaders to support strategic initiatives and build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure successful project execution. Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Deputy Director of Global Sustainability in developing and implementing the sustainability strategy, ensuring alignment with the organization's overall goals and objectives
  • Conduct thorough quantitative and logical analyses to support business decisions and strategic planning
  • Prepare business management reports and high-impact presentations, succinctly communicating findings to senior management
  • Oversee and manage key sustainability projects, ensuring timely delivery and achievement of project goals
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners
  • Collaborate with senior leaders across the firm to support various strategic initiatives
  • Plan and coordinate sustainability-related events, workshops, and meetings as needed
  • Provide administrative support to the Deputy Director of Global Sustainability and the team as needed

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sustainability, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in a sustainability-focused role, business management, or a related area
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to use data to drive insights and decisions
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage with senior leaders and cross-functional teams
  • Proven experience in project management, including leading complex projects and initiatives
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute methodically
  • Self-motivated and able to work with a high degree of independence
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills, with attention to detail and a logical thought process
  • Adaptable and resilient, with the ability to navigate change and uncertainty
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Passion for sustainability and a commitment to driving positive environmental and social impact
  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills, with the ability to foster collaboration and drive results
