As a VP of Marketing Communications in the Marketing Team, you will be instrumental in transforming Aumni's rich venture data into compelling content and narratives. This role is crucial in enhancing engagement with Aumni's brand and product, driving earned media, and capturing brand awareness among VC firms, venture-focused law firms, and VC fund admins.

- Craft compelling insight-driven marketing content and campaigns to convert prospects into clients and drive brand awareness.
- Write and distribute data-driven charts, graphs, infographics, and stories through LinkedIn, blog posts, newsletters, webinars, and events.
- Own and implement a cohesive media relations strategy to secure press mentions and garner company accolades.
- Collaborate with the data and insights team to extract meaningful insights and translate them into engaging content.
- Lead the creation of thought leadership content that positions Aumni as an industry leader in venture capital insights.
- Work closely with the demand generation team to integrate data storytelling into campaigns.
- Track, analyze, and report on the performance of Aumni's communications initiatives.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in data storytelling and content marketing.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Deep understanding of the venture capital and startup ecosystem.
- Bachelor's degree and 5+ years experience in a related role or field
- Proven experience in Marketing Communications.
- Familiarity with data storytelling, content, media, PR, and marketing campaigns.
- Strong ability to interpret complex data and craft compelling narratives.
- Excellent writing and communication skills with a portfolio of data-driven content.
- Experience with social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn, and content management systems.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Experience in securing organic, high-quality backlinks through digital PR.
- Proven track record in driving brand visibility and engagement.
