We are looking for individuals with sales or relationship management experience who can help us further grow our business across a broad range of wholesale accounts including Private banks, Cantonal banks and Multi Family Offices. Job summary

As a Client Advisor for Swiss Funds team, you will concentrate on expanding our business in the regions of Geneva, Suisse Romande, and Ticino. You will be reporting to the Swiss Country Head located in Zurich.

Job responsibilities

  • Develop deep relationships across your client base with particular emphasis on investment decision makers, portfolio managers, research analysts, etc
  • Prepare and deliver product presentations to prospective and existing clients at meetings, conferences, road-shows and via telephone/video conferencing
  • Leverage a consultative sales approach to drive the growth of your clients
  • Engage clients in discussions about new product concepts and solutions to help solve complex client challenges
  • Take ownership of your clients and deliver on your business plan
  • Achieve agreed sales objectives/targets, through the acquisition of new clients, effective pipeline management and client retention
  • Demonstrate ability to undertake business with a full understanding of all compliance, audit and legal requirements specific to the relevant sales area, and in line with 'best practice'
  • Ensure all sales reporting requirements (e.g. detailed contact reports) are fully and promptly met and communicated to the local Head of Sales, and that all client activities are recorded in the CRM tool in an efficient way

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Strong knowhow of the Asset Management industry in all its aspects
  • Deep understanding of the local market with existing relationships in the wholesale channel with capacity to prospect new external relationships
  • Covering an existing book of clients based in Geneva, Suisse Romande and Ticino
  • Strong technical background that enables to articulate a broad range of both long-only and alternative strategies in sufficient detail
  • Confident, professional approach with the ability to operate at a broad level with internal and external partners
  • Proven track record of developing key internal and external partnerships with sales teams and individuals
  • Highly motivated, with the ability to work independently

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Strong team player with drive and client focus
  • Self-starter with the ability to work in a pressurized environment
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and meet tight deadlines
  • 7-10y experience in a similar position with proven track record
  • Extensive client network in the Geneva and Romandie region, Ticino is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English. Italian or German is a plus
