As an Investment Specialist within Private Capital, you will be responsible for fundraising and client engagement across technology & consumer, and life sciences venture and growth equity funds. You will manage client and consultant relationships, information requests and marketing materials, along with the development of future strategies across the business. In addition, you will develop close collaborative relationships with the J.P. Morgan Client Advisor and Consultant Advisor teams and Private Capital investment teams. Your responsibilities will also include business management support to the Managing Director of Private Capital.

Represent the J.P. Morgan Private Capital platform on business related matters globally, including, but not limited to fundraising, marketing, client engagement, competitive positioning, product development and sales strategy.

Job Responsibilities
- Represent the J.P. Morgan Private Capital platform globally, including, but not limited to marketing, competitive positioning, product development and sales strategy.
- Assist the team in all aspects of client prospecting, engagement, and relationship management, including development of quarterly letters, AGMs and ad hoc client requests.
- Become an expert in private markets and the funds on the platform and actively drive new product development and positioning.
- Develop & maintain relationships between the investment desks and distribution teams globally.
- Work with marketing / communications teams to promote products and produce best-in-class client communications, including assisting in the creation of RFPs and other client requests to drive growth.
- Support the MD of Private Capital with strategic projects, creating agendas and presentations for management meetings and additional business management support that may be necessary.
Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities
- 5+ years' work experience, ideally in a client facing role
- Bachelor's Degree and demonstrated professional achievement
- Strong communication (written and oral) and marketing/sales skills, required for both internal and external client deliverables
- Ability to create compelling, thoughtful and creative presentation materials
- Accuracy and attention to detail is essential with strong analytical acumen
- Strong technical skills, including a proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel

- Series 7 and 63 licenses
