As a Vice President in Sales Support within the Japan Funds Business team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Sales Team. You will manage full spectrum of administrative activities, ensuring the smooth operation of our sales support function. Your work will directly enhance and impact our ability to provide top-tier solutions to partner fund distributors, helping them build stronger portfolios.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct and update peer analysis documents for clients, coordinating with the Investment Specialist team, and ensure full translation from English to Japanese.
- Prepare and manage events, campaigns, webinars, and roadshows, including internal approval processes, budget management, event invitations, and other administrative tasks. Some procedures require Japanese language skills.
- Address client inquiries related to funds, marketing materials, operational questions, prospectus changes, and NAV trades.
- Organize client-requested calls with investment desks - Investment Specialist - for portfolio reviews, providing updates on macro views, investment actions, and performance.
- Manage training material logistics, respond to training requests, and prepare reports on training sessions for distributor headquarters.
- Create Zoom IDs, manage client communications, and assist with booking and payment procedures, requiring Japanese communication skills.
- Handle DDQ-related requests, assist with workflow creation, and manage client communications, primarily in Japanese. Monitor and assist with client reports, manage inquiries, and ensure timely distribution of performance data, primarily in Japanese.
- Coordinate with relevant departments for regulatory submissions, manage document submissions, and share feedback with internal teams.
- Support client onboarding processes, including interactions in Japanese, and manage client communications. Collect and evaluate AML DDQ, manage client communications, and log procedures in Japanese.
- Handle daily inquiries from end investors and manage communications for fund closures, requiring Japanese language skills. Manage client information, improve data quality, and enhance input efficiency under the Sales Engagement Platform framework.
- Act as the funds representative by holding regular vendor meetings to review execution status and address issues. Oversee vendor management, including contract execution and oversight related to sales activities. Manage internal folders to manage drive transfers and access control.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum 6 years of relevant experience in Finance or related field.
- Passion for the investments business with a broad understanding of asset classes and portfolio analysis.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, comfortable with formulas, performance methodology and risk analytics.
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively at all levels within an organization.
- Highly proactive, organized, and detail-oriented, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Ability to multi-task while delivering results with quality
- Audit and controls focused.
- Business proficiency in Japanese and a good command of spoken and written English.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and familiarity with Python.
- Knowledge of regulation, platform, and workflow management.
