We manage the negotiation of various trading agreements with the brokers to facilitate derivative trading. We coordinate with internal stakeholders such as the front office, risk groups, legal and operations when negotiating the agreements, to ensure that we can agree to the clauses in the agreements. We also play a role in helping internal stakeholder's understand the contractual terms of the trading agreements and their impact on business, as well as their interaction with other documents and agreements. We act as central repository for the trading agreements and advise when they are in place before trading is enabled.
Job summary:
As an Investor Support Negotiator Master of Trading Agreements within the Asset Management Investment Platform Global Trading Agreements Group you will be responsible for negotiating all kinds of Master Trading Agreements, such as, ISDAs, CSAs, MSFTAs, MCAs, Prime Brokerage Agreements, GMRAs, MRAs, Tri-party Agreements and Collateral Transfer Agreements, Security Agreements and Account Control Agreements related to UMR, as well as any other ancillary documentation for a range of funds and clients across multiple products. You will have knowledge of trading agreements and awareness of certain regulations related to trading agreements, such as the Margin Rules for Segregation of Regulatory Initial Margin are not cleared, FINRA 4210, and the SEC cleared repo mandate, is a must. You must have the ability to work under time sensitive projects and will be expected to build relationships with various groups involved internally and with counterparts at otherwise financial institutions. You must have strong interpersonal skills for this role.

Job responsibilities:
- In-depth knowledge of the Master Trading Agreements contractual framework mentioned above, applicable regulations and derivatives-related issues.
- Drafting and negotiating of Master Trading Agreements, as well as additional provisions for funds and clients based on their country of incorporation and entity type.
- Ability to turnaround matters swiftly and efficiently without compromising the quality of the work
- Keeping client and other files, negotiation notes and other materials organized and duly saved as appropriate.
- Ensuring internal procedures are followed with respect to the initiation of agreements and approvals of terms, key stakeholders are regularly updated with latest status of negotiations.
- Liaison with trading desk, client account managers, operations, legal and risk departments and other internal partners and participation in internal working groups
- Ad hoc documentation projects.
Required qualifications, skills and capabilities:
- Extensive Master Trading Agreement and ancillary agreements negotiation experience (min of 5-7 years will be required)
- Robust understanding of the key data terms in agreements and how they should be used by various internal teams
- Team player, confident and proactive
- Polished verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to present in small or large group settings
- Ability to identify relevant issues and analyze them quickly and effectively
- Ability to multitask and work independently
