The Intermediary Business sells investment products through non-affiliated intermediaries (for example securities firms, banks, financial planners, insurance companies) who, in turn, sell these products to individual investors.

As an Associate Client Advisor in the Hong Kong Intermediary Business Team, you will actively engage with established clients and look for new and innovative ways to build our client book. Using our market-leading technology and CRM system, you will create detailed client contact that help our Sales and Investment teams identify new opportunities and bring cutting edge solutions to our clients. Job responsibilities

  • Build and deepen strong business partnerships for the growth of sales and assets, as well as the retention of assets, of J.P. Morgan Asset Management's investment products and solutions across the Private Bank channel in Asia
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key decision makers, gatekeepers and centers of influence; execute funds onboarding & maximize fundraising on client's platform
  • Understand and analyze industry development and translate into business opportunity
  • Prepare business report and handle business agreement related issues
  • Work effectively with different internal parties and able to present on the team's behalf
  • As a team to achieve overall business objectives, i.e. sales targets and other KPIs

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 4+ years of established track record in financial industry, with strong relationships with key clients
  • Deep understanding of Funds and Private Banking industry, clients and competition landscape; extensive market and product knowledge
  • Excellent product knowledge across alternative investments, equities and fixed income
  • Drive for Achievement: proven track record of in a financial sales environment; outstanding energy and results-oriented
  • People and Relationship Management: build and manage relationships across organization and with clients
  • Strong fiduciary and risk & control mindsets, with high standard of integrity
  • Excellent communications in English, Cantonese and Mandarin are essential requirement for the client coverage

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Professional qualification in CFA
