As an Investment Specialist Associate, you will join the Investment Specialist team and collaborate with internal partners, portfolio managers and other investor support colleagues to contribute to client service, marketing and operational functions. You will receive guidance from a supportive team to help you learn, grow and contribute to the overall investment specialist support function. Over time, you can expect to undertake assignments that allow you to grow your understanding of the fixed income market and elevate your contributions to the team.

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review customized monthly client reports
  • Manage monthly deliverable process, ensuring timely completion and delivering efficiencies
  • Prepare customized presentations for client portfolio and fund review meetings
  • Prepare and maintain strategy and fund presentations
  • Conduct monthly data downloads and maintain backup files
  • Update and maintain key data points for RFP and client requests
  • Collaborate with investment specialists in responding to client-related, sales, consultant and RFP team's requests for information
  • Contribute to strategic projects and drive efficiencies

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Minimum 2 years work experience with fixed income knowledge
  • Undergraduate degree from an accredited university
  • Proficient-to-advanced experience in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
  • Exceptional organizational, process management, and prioritization skills
  • Strong analytical skills with an emphasis on detail orientation
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong initiative, energy and confidence
  • Proactive, positive approach with ability to learn concepts and procedures quickly

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Interest in finance, marketing or investment management
  • Python Coding
