As an External Client Advisor Retirement within JPMAM, you will be tasked with promoting our comprehensive workplace retirement plan and Investment Only solutions via DC Specialist advisors and JPMC Middle Market bankers. We also equip our advisors and bankers with the necessary tools and insights to assist their clients in constructing robust workplace retirement plans, ultimately leading to improved results for their plan participants.

Job Responsibilities

  • Raise and retain assets for JPMAM by driving sales growth for our Defined Contribution retirement solutions in the South Central territory (TX, OK, LA, AR, KS, NE) with DC Specialist advisors, JPMC Middle Market bankers, and their plan sponsor clients.
  • Partner with JPMAM Defined Contribution Investment Solutions (DCIO) territory partners to deepen relationships with DC Specialist advisors, drive pipeline opportunities, and close plans.
  • Engage with JPMC Middle Market bankers and their leaders to best align activities with shared goals and optimize business results through a collaborative partnership to promote the benefits of JPMAM full service retirement plan solutions, and develop strategic prospecting plans to grow sales.
  • Prepare and deliver client presentations in partnership with advisors and bankers from Initial thru Finals and Won stages, and offers guidance throughout the on-boarding process to ensure an optimal client transition experience.
  • Effectively manage multiple facets of the sales process including meeting coordination, RFP responses, product comparisons, proposals, pipeline management, follow-up items/activities.
  • Prepare all team members for effective client engagement from point-of-sale through the duration of the client relationship.
  • Collaborate with JP Morgan Relationship Managers on advisor Due Diligence meetings and point of sale presentations.
  • Travel requirements >70% with a minimum activity standard of 12 meetings per week.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Minimum 10 years of external mid-market Defined Contribution plan wholesaling experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Series 7, 63
