As an Equity Trader in the AMC Equity Trading Team, you will be responsible for executing orders placed by Portfolio Managers encompassing different instrument types which includes: Common Stocks, ETFs, Index Futures, and Options etc. You will handle trades for both onshore and offshore markets. You will be working collaboratively with other team members and explore ways to build up a robust Transaction Cost Analysis capability to further strengthen the team's overall execution quality. You will also be working collectively with the Company's vendors and brokers to further utilize their services to aid the team's trading process and to bring about better execution results.

- Responsible for China domestic and offshore equity trading.
- Proactively working with the team and take the lead in building up a more robust Transaction Cost Analysis capability by enhancing current practice.
- Rigorously working with the vendors to uplift their services to the team and to facilitate more effective tool kits to aid the trading process.
- Working closely with the team and other internal stakeholders to help streamline procedures. Also help foster more collaborative working environment with other lines of business.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with the trading process. Come up with feasible methods to help improve processes and procedures.
- Participate in planning and development of new business initiatives.
- Build healthy relationships with the brokers, to continuously advocate the values of the firm, and continue to push for better services from brokers to achieve better trading outcomes as a result.
- Other jobs related to the team's shift rotation.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Bachelor's Degree or above.
- 2 years of trading or associated working experiences at the minimum, with a sound knowledge of China Mutual Fund industry and its trading processes preferred.
- Good in Math and programming, familiar with Python suite. Solid understanding/experience of Transaction Cost Analysis.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
- Have AMAC qualification.
