Role Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join J.P. Morgan Asset Management's Greater China equity research team. The team manages Chinese and regional equity funds, while also contributing investment analysis and ideas to regional and global strategies.

As an Equity Research Analyst in the team, you will involve in covering industrial and technology companies across Greater China, as well as assisting in the management of analyst portfolios.

Responsibilities:

  • Cover industrial and technology companies across Greater China. We are open to a broad range of experience across the industrial and technology (semi & hardware) sectors.
  • Provide strategic guidance on coverage and investment direction on the broad industrial universe in China.
  • Develop comprehensive research reports and investment recommendations across a wide range of industrial companies.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and macroeconomic factors affecting the industrials sector.
  • Communicate research findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders, clients, and senior management.
  • Mentor and guide junior analysts within the team.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Experience in equity research, or equivalent post grad research experience in related field.
  • Previous portfolio management experience is highly desirable.
  • Experience mentoring and developing junior talent.
  • Strong analytical, financial modeling, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple coverage areas and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin.
