Asset Management - Client Service Executive - Vice President (Fund Business Focus)

We provide an integrated approach to client servicing in order to meet the client's full range of investment and servicing needs. Each new client is assigned to a Client Service team which consists of a Client Advisor, Client Account Manager, Portfolio Manager and Investment Specialist.

As a Client Service Executive - Vice President with a focus in fund business within Asset Management, you will bring extensive managerial, performance and project management experience, along with a background in Taiwan's Asset Management and ideally knowledge in ETFs. Your role will be crucial in identifying and addressing risks and issues in client service and resource management, while supporting business needs and operations to achieve optimal results within agreed operating model framework. You will collaborate closely with sales, legal, compliance, operations, and overseas client service teams to solve problems and drive execution.

Job responsibilities

  • Cultivate long-term partnerships with key clients and distributors by understanding their business needs and agendas. Manage client-impacting changes and projects in compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.
  • Act as the escalation point for the client service teams who cover the day-to-day contact for fund clients, including banks, insurance companies, and e-platforms, etc. Ensure the team delivers exceptional client service and meets assigned deliverables. Communicate significant client issues internally and escalate as appropriate.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to facilitate business growth.
  • Influence internal stakeholders and continuously improve efficiencies and effectiveness of the teams whilst optimizing client experience and driving down risks and manual efforts.
  • Initiate, participate or coordinate onshore or global projects to enhance client experience, address regulatory changes, and support regional initiatives. Partner closely with regional and global project teams on global initiatives.
  • Prepare and analyze the team's monthly Management Information System (MIS) reports and understand capacity narratives and resource planning.
  • Drive a robust risk and control environment, proactively resolving issues and managing risks.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Over ten years of experience in financial services, specializing in client service management, people management, projects and change, and/or experience in working in Taiwan as well as global teams.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a client-focused mindset; able to negotiate with senior contact points in clients' offices; collaborate with sales and internal partners to drive client experience and service delivery and execution.
  • Detail-oriented, diligent, and capable of multitasking in a team environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulations, products, and services.
  • Adaptable to change, supporting strategies for business transformation.
  • Proven ability to contribute to building high-performing teams, emphasizing continuous learning and be a culture carrier.
  • Results-oriented, ensuring solutions meet client needs and align with the firm's goals.
  • Experience in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Mandarin.
  • Professional license: SITCA License is a must.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Relevant experience in ETF business is preferred.
