As an Associate Business Manager in the Retirement business within Asset Management, you will partner with senior leaders to drive strategic initiatives and deliver value-added analysis. Your role will focus on increasing sales productivity and profitability, ensuring successful implementation of new initiatives. The role will be based in New York and be a member of the Asset Management Americas Client & Global Insurance F&BM team reporting to the CFO & Head of F&BM for the Americas Client & GIS businesses, with additional accountability to the Head of the AM Retirement business.

Job Responsibilities:
- Provide support, unbiased advice, analysis and actionable recommendations to Head of AM Retirement as well as various other senior leaders
- End to end ownership and management of business priority projects
- Partner with other business-aligned functional areas (Client Service, Marketing, Legal, Risk & Controls, HR, Compliance, Technology and Operations) with respect to change management initiatives
- Collaborate with F&BM counterparts in other distribution channels on various projects
- Identify internal control issues or inefficiencies and own solutions (business process reengineering, technology enhancements, control environment), including ownership of internal audit requests and the annual RCSA (Risk Control Self-Assessment) process
- Handle ad-hoc client issue escalations
- Prepare senior management for internal and external meetings
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- 4+ years' experience in the financial services industry, with exposure to Asset Management
- Excellent presentation and communication skills: delivering messages clearly and succinctly with tailored approach depending on target audience
- Ability to build strong working relationships and influence a wide range of stakeholders, including executive management
- Strong project management skills, with emphasis on controls and focus on process improvement
- Excellent analytical skills
- Pro-active and problem solving mindset with ability to identify, clearly present and implement solutions
