The product portfolio covers web, mobile, Application Programming Interface (API), host-to-host and files and includes our market leading digital platforms - J.P Morgan Access® and Payments Developer Platform.

As a Product Manager in Payments' Channels and Connectivity organization, you will be an integral part of the team innovating and launching the core API Platform. Influencing technical buyers is a strategic focus for the firm, and a specific area of focus for the Payments business. The API Platform is the strategic platform connecting developers to our products and services with the vision and roadmap to deliver frictionless developer experiences at every stage of the buying lifecycle.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap.
  • Own, develop, and maintain a product backlog that enables development to deliver incremental customer value against the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition.
  • Lead the analysis to assess upstream and downstream implications of new product features on the overall product and customer experiences.
  • Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability.
  • Develop a product strategy to support digital marketplace features on the Payments Developer Portal
  • Drive the creation of requirements, epics, and user stories to support product development.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Relevant experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area.
  • Proven ability to work on product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management.
  • Prior experience with agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, LeSS, Scrum @ Scale) and demonstrated experience with product teams using the agile methodology will be an added advantage.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Product management experience for technical products built for engineers (e.g., APIs, frameworks, infrastructure).
  • Prior experience working with APIs and/or developer portals.
