As a Client Data Associate within the Commercial Investment Banking team, you will be reviewing and investigating Anti-Money Laundering (AML) cases, Politically Exposed Persons (PEP) profiles, and negative media reports. The position requires interfacing with WKO Makers, Middle Office, Client Owners, Legal, and Compliance teams to determine appropriate approvals and actions to mitigate risk. The candidate will ensure that Know Your Customer (KYC) documentation is accurately and promptly recorded for each event. Additionally, the role includes maintaining and publishing reporting metrics, as well as escalating any past due items. The candidate will also assist with various projects related to AML.

Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough reviews and investigations of AML, PEP, and negative media cases
- Collaborate with WKO Makers, Middle Office, Client Owners, Legal, and Compliance teams to determine appropriate approvals and risk mitigation actions
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of Know Your Customer (KYC) information for each event
- Maintain and publish reporting metrics, escalating any past due items as necessary
- Support various projects related to AML initiatives
Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:
- Bachelor's degree
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in AML, negative media, or similar roles within Compliance, Legal, Risk, or Audit
- Strong understanding of AML red flags
- Familiarity with JPMC bank systems such as CDD, FCIP, Customer Assist, and Client Central
- Team-oriented with the ability to work independently and achieve objectives with minimal supervision
- Strong project management skills, capable of handling multiple assignments and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, for presenting information concisely and effectively
- Proficiency in SharePoint and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access)
