In this role, you will lead data design sessions, develop analytical data models, and oversee data pipelines and ETL processes. You will also mentor team members and collaborate with model implementation teams to deploy predictive models. Your expertise in data technologies and strong communication skills will be key to your success.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead data design sessions with Finance, Modeling, and Product teams to build flexible data structures.
  • Design and develop analytical data models for analytics solutions and machine learning models.
  • Design and build a data quality framework.
  • Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines and ETL processes.
  • Collaborate with model implementation teams for online implementation of predictive models.
  • Mentor team members.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Ability to speak both technical language and business results.
  • Broad expertise in data technologies, including data warehousing, ETL, and data quality concepts.
  • Experience with deploying enterprise-level machine learning models.
  • Technical understanding of Databricks.
  • Technical understanding of common systems, such as Hadoop, Teradata, and Oracle.
  • Hands-on experience with data modeling techniques and tools.
  • Python and PySpark experience.
  • Excellent command of SQL.
  • Advanced analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to execute via successful internal partnerships and influence peers.
  • 5+ years in Data Engineering or Analytics, 2+ years in a leadership capacity.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Experience with unstructured data and business intelligence tools.
  • Proven ability to build consensus among diverse points of view.
