As the Business Support in our Corporate Tax team, you should have excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, strong communication skills, possess a "can-do" attitude, high energy and flexibility to a high-paced deadline driven organization. In this role you will need to work well in a team environment, be able to represent the manager/group with professional courtesy and acumen and deliver flawless work output.

You will be responsible for performing an array of business support functions requiring confidentiality, initiative and sound decision making for the executive, their team of managers, and other stakeholders. You bring years of experience being the Business Support while being very adaptable, and welcoming change.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide Singapore and Hong Kong business support on a day-to-day basis, including management of meeting schedules, travel arrangements and schedules, on-boarding and off-boarding requirements. Handle all associated logistical aspects.
  • Ensure timely resolution of issues, and maintaining open lines of communication with the team and stakeholders.
  • Evaluate continuously and suggest process improvement ideas to optimize efficiency and effectiveness across the team and assist with data input, spreadsheet management and presentation preparation.
  • Create your own relationships with other business supports across the organization to ensure your management and execution of the business support to the team when the issue is appropriately urgent.
  • Work in a fast paced, ever changing environment and to effectively handle multiple priorities with a calm, professional and willing attitude.
  • Process invoices and travel & expense claims for team members in a timely fashion and ensure all policies are followed and items are processed within provided guidelines. Act as a subject matter expert for policies and procedures.
  • Assist with overflow, special projects, assistant back-up coverage and day-to-day tasks and depending on your skillsets, you will also have the opportunity to take on different responsibilities.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a business support role in a professional or financial services environment.
  • Strong inter-personal and partnership skills, i.e. develop relationships with peers, stakeholders, etc. Also, Open to take on increased and/or new responsibilities at any time.
  • Tact and good judgment in highly confidential situations and proven experience interacting with senior management.
  • Able to work independently whilst also operating effectively in a team based environment.
  • Ability to adapt procedures, processes and techniques to the completion of assignments.
  • Experience in calendar management and excellent telephone etiquette.
  • Strong execution experience with a demonstrated ability to meet and enforce deadlines and communication (both written and verbal) skills, effective relationship building skills with the ability to listen well and influence others, attention to detail and positive / proactive attitude.
