Amazon Co-Brand Marketing Strategy Lead

The Amazon Marketing Strategy Lead will partner across key teams at Chase and Amazon to develop, articulate, and drive alignment on marketing strategies that successfully engage existing cardmembers and/or acquire new customers in an industry-leading Co-Brand credit card program. They will lead the way on research and analytics that support objectives and key results to inform and refine marketing tactics to achieve shared Chase and Amazon objectives. The Marketing Strategy Lead will have accountability to lead investment decisioning for the team, working with Risk, Data & Analytics, and Finance stakeholders and partnering with Marketing and Product leaders at Chase and Amazon to develop offer strategies that drive profitable growth, differentiation in the market, and a great customer experiences. This position sits within the Co-Brand Cards organization of Card Services, a key business within Chase's Consumer & Community Banking group.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop a marketing strategy focused on acquiring and engaging cardmembers throughout their lifecycle
  • Partner with Product & Marketing leaders at Chase and Amazon to drive a diligent approach to testing, evaluating, and refining tactics to support the strategy and optimize results
  • Leverage prior results, customer insights, and competitive insights to develop new offers
  • Identify growth opportunities in underpenetrated customer segments and partner with stakeholders to build tactics that capture incremental opportunity within Chase's risk appetite
  • Work closely with Chase Analytics, Finance and Risk teams to develop proforma and targeting strategies to ensure marketing campaigns meet required investment hurdles and responsibly leverage marketing funds, while also driving a robust test & learn approach
  • Develop executive level presentations and analysis to be shared with Chase and Amazon leadership teams

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 7+ years of credit card experience required, including proven track record of developing marketing strategy that drives results
  • Strong understanding of key financial drivers of card economics, critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Customer-obsessed with proven experience in identifying key customer insights and turning them into effective growth initiatives
  • Advanced experience/knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint/PitchPro+
  • Leadership skills to navigate cross-functionally, bringing key stakeholders together to drive change and influence outcomes
  • Proactive, strategic, and results driven with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple complex initiatives and deliverables at the same time
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across varying seniority levels internally and externally
  • Outstanding relationship management skills and ability to influence and drive recommendations within a highly matrixed organizational structure

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Understanding of marketing campaign execution processes across channels
  • Experience driving paid media strategy
