As an Agility Senior Associate in in Commercial & Investment Bank in Marketing technology Pricing & Structuring you will contribute to the team by guiding and supporting solution delivery teams in adopting and adapting agile practices throughout the product development lifecycle. Leveraging your advanced knowledge of agile principles you will facilitate group discussions, decision-making processes, and collaborative activities to build continuous improvement and high performance. Job responsibilities
- Facilitate the adoption and adaptation of agile methodologies within teams and provide guidance, training, and support to propel continuous improvement and high performance
- Be the subject matter expert on Agile Software Delivery, guiding scrum teams to embrace scrum ways of working and helping them understand strategy and product vision
- Guide the development team through data driven metrics including velocity, churn, backlog readiness
- Own the 0-3 months Sprint Plan by partnering with stakeholders including the Product Owner to prioritize business, technology and regulatory driven commitments
- Facilitate agile sprint ceremonies as appropriate, including sprint planning, daily stand ups, sprint reviews and sprint retrospectives and backlog refinement
- Ensure teams manage work and prioritizes effectively, all team members are engaged, and all work is captured in the backlog
- Be able to Drive team members to anticipate and resolve potential blockers and ensuring impediments and blockers are removed or escalated in a timely manner
- Ensure that actions raised in Retrospectives are recorded, acted upon and closed
- Foster a culture of collaboration with other scrum teams and collaboratively work with other tech partner and product teams to effectively identify and track key dependencies. Manage projects against ambitious client commitments and deadlines.
- Build a culture of cooperation and engagement within the team through development of practices and activities that are team led and owned.
- Be responsible for release management and increasing its automation where required.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in a relevant domain, with a focus on guiding teams to adopt agile methodologies and practices
- Thorough understanding of agile methodologies.
- Strong experience including best practices in standards methods and tools for Agile (JIRA, confluence)
- Experience of leading agile teams both onshore and offshore across global locations
- Strong experience in resolving conflicting priorities. Problem solving within ambiguous and fast-paced environment with attitude to get things done
- Experience in managing multiple complex projects including task prioritization, risk assessment, estimation, change control etc.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Collaborative working mindset. Able to communicate with empathy and influence others broadly within our area of responsibility
- Interacting with others with excellent people management skills, listening, motivating, observing, giving and receiving feedback helps individuals and team grow
- Current or previous qualification in the field e.g. PMI, CSM, PMP.
- Be an effective communicator with technical audiences, able to present complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders in person and via status reports at all levels of seniority.
- Ability to work independently, own issues to resolution and be self-motivated to achieve the best results for our business partners.
