Agency Securities Finance (ASF) as agent lender provides equity and fixed income securities to broker dealers to facilitate their proprietary and client trading strategies. Where they have a requirement to borrow securities the lending desk negotiates a fee for the loan based on supply and demand and the type of underlying strategy. With 5 trading desks globally, JPMorgan offers a 24-hour service in 37 different markets.
As a Vice President within the Agency Securities Finance Operations team, you will be responsible for providing regional operational support for our Discretionary Securities Lending businesses. You will work on a product that is positioned for significant growth and we are looking for dedicated individuals to support this expansion. Our Asia Pacific (APAC) client base across all facets of their securities lending programs. You will involve building robust client relationships to ensure consistent service quality and improvements. Additionally, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a network of partners through our Commercial and Investment Bank to foster client-centricity and overall service quality.

Job responsibilities:
- Manage Agency Securities Finance clients
- Represent the Client within JPMorgan to ensure that business is well aligned to deliver to Client's specific program parameters and reporting requirements.
- Represent JPMorgan agency lending's service delivery to the client.
- Act as primary entry point for client on day-to-day questions, concerns and requests.
- Promote escalation of client service delivery issues to all relevant internal JPMorgan parties to ensure proper focus and timely resolution.
- Participate in regular internal wider non lending specific JPMorgan client virtual team or health check meetings as required on an ad hoc basis.
- Work directly with Agency Securities Finance Onboarding for all incremental on-boarding and off-boarding, ensuring key tasks such as client reporting entitlements, synopsis updates and instructions to database are timely and accurate.
- Lead (in partnership with Client Reporting trainer) client training sessions on site and online related to JPMorgan Access, providing clients with the navigation skills to retrieve relevant data while promoting full self-service.
- Produce Client Performance decks, including but not limited to: executive summary, commentary, charts and graphs, Markit and other performance benchmarking data, additional performance slides as necessary and final production
- Prepare client reporting to make sure in line with client deliverables/expectations
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Sound knowledge of Global Financial Markets
- Minimum of 10 years of client facing experience
- Proven track record in a busy and/or dynamic operations environment with an ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
- Good understanding of Microsoft Excel
- Understanding of the workflows of a custodian
- Business level Japanese language capability both verbal and in writing
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Bachelor degree or above preferred
- Experience in Securities Lending, Collateral Management, Settlements or Trade Support/Middle Office roles beneficial
- Exposure to digital tools such as Alteryx, Xceptor, Tableau and Python beneficial
