As an Off-Cycle PERE Intern in the European J.P. Morgan Asset Management Global Alternatives team, you will be offered variety, growth, and a great introduction to a range of projects and tasks. With a substantial portfolio and a broad array of strategies, our private equity real estate arm operates across the United States, Europe, and Asia, offering unparalleled expertise and insights in the real estate market. Managing approximately $54.0 billion in real estate assets globally, the team focuses on direct equity investments in office, retail, warehouse/industrial, and residential properties through various funds and separate accounts. This program is designed to provide a fixed-term, hands-on experience, requiring full-time availability for a period of 6 months in our Frankfurt office.

Job responsibilities:
- Supports the investment team in the initial screening of investment opportunities, focusing on office, residential, logistics, and industrial assets.
- Conduct cash-flow modelling and financial analysis.
- Perform asset and market-specific research.
- Compile internal memoranda and presentations to support investment decisions.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Fluency in German and English.
- Completed university degree or currently enrolled,
- Availability to work full time for up to 6 months.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Strong knowledge in corporate finance and Excel (financial modelling).
- Studies in Business Administration, Finance, or similar preferred, but not required - applicants from all disciplines are welcome.
- Previous experience in Real Estate, M&A, private equity, or management consulting.
- Affinity to real estate.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills with the ability to manage internal and external requests.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
