Join us at J.P. Morgan's 'Code for Good' Hackathon, where you'll collaborate with coders, technologists, and non-profit organizations to solve real-world problems. Experience our commitment to change, inclusion, and community impact while working alongside our tech experts.

As a participant in the 2024 Code For Good - Hong Kong, you will be encouraged to come up with innovative ideas that could make a difference for the people who need it most. Ahead of the Hackathon, scheduled for Friday, 18 October, 2024, we will run a bootcamp, share helpful resources, and host Q&A sessions to help you settle into a collaborative environment and prepare for the main Hackathon event. The Bootcamp is specially designed to introduce you to key tools and platforms that will help you achieve a successful hack during the event, especially if you are new to the hackathon space.

The Hackathon also serves as a pipeline for our 2025 Software Engineer internship, a 9-week program designed to elevate your tech career through innovative projects, technical training, and professional networking.

Coders will be attending the event in-person and will require a personal laptop/desktop to participate.

Job responsibilities

  • Work alongside our technology experts
  • Develop a technology solution for a leading social good organization

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Students pursuing a Bachelor's Degree with expected graduation of September 2025 through July 2026
  • Available for full time internship from June through August 2025
  • Foundational knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, Javascript, Java, C++, C#), databases, data structures and algorithms
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Exceptional problem-solving ability
  • Relevant internship experience and leadership in school or community organization
