As a Quality Assurance Senior Associate, you will be responsible for designing and performing Quality Assurance over 1LOD processes within Markets Sales & Trading. This is an exciting opportunity for you to be involved in providing quality assurance to senior stakeholders for important programs of work for the Markets businesses. You will contribute to defining the scope for QA, and present the scope for approval from the QA approver. You will be responsible for the creation of test scripts and task lists, oversight and mentoring of our offshore colleagues who will execute the tests, interviewing colleagues at all levels as part of QA scripts, completing analysis of results and create presentations of results for senior forums. You will also be responsible for monitoring and tracking findings through to resolution. This role provides opportunities to work with stakeholders across functions and at all levels throughout the organization and will provide the opportunity to present at senior forums as delegate for the QA Program Owner.

Job responsibilities
- Review the QA program scope and update test scripts and /or other relevant documentation for QA Program Approver approval and then socialize with all interested parties through various meetings, forums in partnership with the QA Program Owner, on a quarterly basis .
- Be responsible to create timelines and task-lists for the offshore QA team.
- Act as oversight contact for the offshore QA team who will perform QA and be the escalation contact for any unexpected delays, issues which could hamper timelines or quality of the QA process.
- Be responsible for the escalation of any issues to the QA program owner.
- Conduct interviews with various parties at all levels during the QA cycle following pre-designed questions.
- Conduct analysis of all results from the offshore team and in conjunction with the QA Program Owner create a findings report with suggested actions.
- Create presentations of results for different audiences and have the opportunity to present to various stakeholders across functions.
- Own the restricted SharePoint access control and regular reviews will be required to ensure any inappropriate access is removed.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience in the financial services industry with a background in controls, audit, quality assurance, operational risk management or compliance or equivalent subject matter expertise in a relevant business-related function/operation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio), with data analytics using Excel
- Markets Trading and Sales Business knowledge- ability to understand the business / knowledge of regulation surrounding business
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to influence business leaders meaningfully and actionably
- Exceptional interpersonal skills; exceptional collaboration and relationship-building skills
- Flexible, adaptable to shifting priorities
- Demonstrates the ability to manage competing priorities effectively to achieve optimal results
- Thrives in a fast-paced, results-driven environment

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required

- Previous Audit or Assurance experience
- Banking Operational Risk and Controls Framework
