The main responsibility of this role will be to partner with the Product Manager and the Director of Marketing to shape and execute marketing strategies for Enabling Technologies (ET) product portfolio (orthopedic power tools, robotics along with other digital surgery and capital products).

Responsibilities:

• Applying principles of marketing fundamentals to gain strong customer insights and assisting in the development and execution of customer focused and innovative marketing plans for ET products that achieve a defined metric

• Assisting in the development and management of the successful execution of specific promotional programs that achieve projected program outcomes and share and market forecasts

• Spending time with customers to develop relationships, understand needs and translate needs into business opportunities

• Collaborating with sales and marketing and other partners to build and leverage interdependencies across Medical Devices businesses to drive innovation and accelerate growth in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements

• Assist in forecasting, business analysis and business planning.

• Communicate strategies to the sales teams.

• Conducts market assessments of business opportunities and deliver recommendations to the Marketing group.

• Assist in the Canadian commercial launch of the Velys Robotic Assisted Solution for Knee Arthroscopy.

• Deep dive assessment to understand the capital selling process, stakeholders and key success factors within the Canadian Healthcare system with outcomes informing the overall portfolio strategy.

• Assisting in the design, development and execution of a technical service organization dedicated to supporting in-market ET's.

• Act in a Project Manager capacity to ensure timely execution of assign projects.

Qualifications

Relevant knowledge and experience

  • Currently enrolled/completed and in good academic standing in a recognized MBA program in Canada.
  • Undergraduate degree in Science or Business preferred.
  • 2-3 years of full-time relevant business experience
  • Previous experience in healthcare, marketing and/ or sales will be an asset.
  • Experience with large capital products an asset.
  • Omnichannel and Digital Marketing experience an asset

  • Demonstrated strong analytical and project management skills
  • Demonstration of financial and business acumen
  • Proactive and results oriented with a demonstrated ability to lead.
  • Ability to think strategically and leverage an innovative, customer -centric mindset
  • Proven verbal, presentation and written communication skills.
