The Transcend Global Program Director will report directly to the Senior Director, MTSC Digital Portfolio & Program Management and partner with key stakeholders including highest levels of MedTech Supply chain leadership and cross-functional partners. The leader will advance the Transcend advance and mature the program governance and delivery execution strategy by providing insight and analysis to help senior leadership plan and prioritize throughout the lifecycle of the program from execution to hypercare. This role will lead the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and measurement of the Transcend program and provide guidance and direction to the Transcend regional PMO teams. This leader will be responsible for providing quality reviews, governance, and oversight of the program deliverables. Additionally, this role will be responsible for Transcend program oversight and partnering with interdependent transformation PMO leaders across MTSC Digital, MedTech Supply Chain, Global Services, etc.

In collaboration with the MTSC Digital Value Management, Finance, and Deployment leads, the Transcend Global Program Director will lead strategy development, investment recommendations, and program changes throughout the lifecycle of the program. This leader will support the release PMO teams to mobilize their program teams. In collaboration with the release PMO and deployment leads, this leader will provide guidance into the project schedule, project plans, and monitor progress against the various project releases that roll-up to the global plan. This individual will lead a team of project managers to ensure day-to-day PMO activities including overall program status, resource load, and financial health of the project are appropriately managed and governed.

The Transcend Global Program Director will be responsible for governing overall program risk assessments, developing contingency plans, and recommending mitigations. Provide input to overall program strategic delivery framework and drive updates on continuously improving the standards and methodologies. Anticipate potential risks, program obstacles through an understanding of key business processes and the analysis of key program data. Partner with program managers across the regions and franchises to define key program metrics for each phase of the project and manage ongoing analysis and reporting. This role will also collaborate closely with the cross-functional leads to integrate enterprise-wide dependencies and risks into project planning efforts. Additionally, this role will provide input to the prioritization of program activities and objectives based on knowledge of project plan, resources, and budget and will form productive networks with MedTech Supply Chain franchise leaders, Global Services, Finance, Compliance, and JJT to manage expectations and integrate diverse needs and perspectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Builds long-term, strategic relationships and collaborates with functional and enabling support organizational leaders
  • Align with cross-functional partners and stakeholders to define program scope, goals, and deliverables
  • Develop program management playbook to define process to mobilize PMO team, establish governance model, and ways of working
  • Drive adoption and adherence of program management tools and processes
  • Lead the program planning and delivery execution of the Transcend roadmap
  • Provide leadership, direction and coaching to the program team to drive successful outcomes
  • Lead and motivate program team to deliver project objectives by regularly assessing resource needs, removing barriers to success, and providing constructive feedback when needed
  • Embrace and lead a culture of inclusiveness and multi-cultural engagement through coaching and feedback to peers and the broader community in Global Services
  • Maintains a strong intuitive understanding of business needs, problems, industry standards, and stakeholder expectations
  • Mitigate and reduce risks/issues to program milestones
  • Create and present status and leadership reports defining program progress, challenges, and solutions
  • Implement and manage program changes and interventions to achieve program objectives
  • Conduct program evaluations and assessment of results


Qualifications

Qualifications:

Education: Minimum of Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent University degree required; advanced degree or MBA preferred

Required:

  • Minimum ten (10) years of relevant professional work experience
  • Experience leading large complex strategic and/or ERP programs globally
  • Experience managing and leading employees and complex team efforts
  • Strategic thinking and foresight
  • Ability to shape, create a future vision, gain support and alignment to that vision
  • Ability to flex and effectively manage large complex scope and competing priorities
  • Demonstrates agile leadership - drives, promotes, and be/lead the desired change
  • Executive presentation skills
  • Collaborative approach and ability to connect
  • Ability to managing complexity and ambiguity
  • Bifocal approach - ability to zoom-in/zoom-out for strategic and tactical, high-level, and detailed, etc.
  • Ability to lead in the context of Our Credo.
  • Experience with business support software applications such as MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, Visio, and Access)

Preferred:

  • PMP Certification
  • Experience leading and delivering business initiatives within shared services organizations; Supply Chain, Strategy, Finance, and Technology functions

• Experience utilizing Planview Enterprise Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tool to manage, report and track strategic programs and projects

Other:

  • May require up to 25% domestic and/or international travel to other locations and sites.
  • The anticipated base pay range for this position is $146,000 - $251,850/yr.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.

    • Vacation - up to 120 hours per calendar year
    • Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington - up to 56 hours per calendar year
    • Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays - up to 13 days per calendar year of Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
