We are searching for the best talent for Strategic Communications & Amplification Intern to be in remote or hybrid. The Strategic Communications and Amplification Intern role will contribute to the success of Scientific Partnerships & Population Health (SPPH) by effectively amplifying the core capabilities, results and impact of all three SPPH pillars (Scientific Partnerships, Population Health Research & Data Partnerships). This role focuses on developing and executing a comprehensive communication strategy and plan that highlights the innovative projects and impactful outcomes driven by the SPPH team.

You will be responsible for:
- Design a comprehensive communication plan for SPPH that aligns with organizational goals and priorities.
- Identify key messaging themes and strategic objectives to elevate awareness of SPPH's contributions internally and externally.
Internal and External Amplification:
- Develop and publish engaging articles for the company homepage, newsletters, and other internal platforms to showcase SPPH's achievements.
- Explore and manage podcast opportunities to highlight SPPH leaders, projects, and impactful stories.
- Collaborate with marketing and public affairs teams to identify and execute amplification opportunities across multiple channels.
Stakeholder Engagement and Content Creation:
- Partner with leaders and teams within SPPH to gather compelling stories, data, and insights for amplification.
- Produce high-quality content tailored to diverse audiences, including employees, collaborators, and external partners.
Metrics and Impact Measurement:
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of communication efforts.
Qualifications
- Candidates must be actively enrolled in an accredited University for the duration of the internship assignment pursuing a Bachelor's or equivalent degree, Master's, or PhD degree or equivalent experience.
- Students must be legally authorized to work in the United States and not require future sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g. H1-B status) now or in the future.
- Enthusiastic about communication
- Have experience in storytelling or marketing.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Have familiarity with the pharma and healthcare sector is preferred
- Communications and Business majors are preferred
- Have experience with social media platforms is preferred.
