Work with R&D engineers to develop and build the products of tomorrow!
Perform and document aspects related design, fabrication, modification, and assembly of prototype electrophysiology catheters and/or their components. Technician will require to perform basic electrical and mechanical operations, as well as inspect, calibrate, adjust, test, and maintain equipment, components, devices, and systems.]

Key Responsibilities:
- Under general supervision builds prototype devices based of off engineering sketches, drawings, verbal instruction and/or written instructions.
- Performs and documents sophisticated repairs, testing, maintenance, fabrication, inspection, and calibration of components, test apparatus, and associated specific subject area equipment.
- Conducts training of manufacturing personnel and other technicians.
- Sets up, adjusts and operates laboratory/manufacturing equipment.
- Solves problems related to electrical, mechanical systems, components, and equipment.
- Assists engineers in specific subject area by problem solving and making design recommendations based on product knowledge.
- Performs self-inspections of own work.
- When applicable, follows standard operating procedures for all tasks.
- Maintains clean and orderly work area.
- Responsible for finishing the appropriate safety and environmental hazard training.
- Responsible for ensuring personal and company compliance with all federal, state, local and company regulations, policies and procedures for Health, Safety and Environmental compliance.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and 1-4 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience and Skills:
Required:
- Ability to use test and measurement equipment (caliper, micrometer, rulers, etc.).
- Ability to read and understand user documentation associated with specific subject area.
- Ability to use PC's and associated software.
- Ability to read, to write, to communicate, and understand English.
Preferred/Desired:
- Experience with vision measurement system.
- Working under microscope.
- Soldering and PCB handling
- Clean room experience

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.
