The preferred candidate's work location will be in New Brunswick NJ and the position will incorporate the J&J Flex Hybrid Wok Model.

Key Responsibilities: Direct Tax Reporting & Compliance Position

  • Prepare quarterly and forecast tax provisions in accordance with US GAAP requirements.
  • Assists with inter-period tax provision and allocation under ASC 740 / FIN 48, records temporary and permanent differences between income for financial and tax purposes and maintains tax basis balance sheets for deferred tax calculations.
  • Assist with federal and state tax research as needed.
  • Assist with federal and state tax audits and related matters as needed.
  • Maintains accurate documentation and testing of procedures to ensure adequate internal controls and to satisfy requirements of Sarbanes-Oxley Act Section 404.
  • Assists with special projects to implement tax strategies and/or document and support current tax positions.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent.
  • 2-4 year's experience required
  • An understanding of financial accounting practices
  • Must possess strong communication (verbal and written), time management, collaborative and prioritization skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is 77000 to 124200.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.

  • Vacation - up to 120 hours per calendar year
  • Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington - up to 56 hours per calendar year
  • Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays - up to 13 days per calendar year of Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
