The Sr. Specialist, Digital Health Operations is primarily responsible for leading Digital Health and Operational aspects of various technologies. The incumbent will be required to demonstrate technical expertise in system development, user acceptance testing and provide subject matter expertise to study teams. The incumbent will lead all Digital Health-related activities and will be the point of contact for the cross-functional study team. The incumbent is encouraged to maintain an awareness of industry benchmarks and evaluate innovative new technologies to ensure Digital Health processes are at the 'best practice' level of performance.

Primary responsibilities:

• Serve as a subject matter authority for Digital Health, providing advice/recommendation to study teams regarding the supplier(s) and device/technology alternatives

• Complete Requests for Proposal documentation, and recommend appropriate suppliers to support study needs

• Provide leadership and expertise for the completion of supplier specification development and set-up activities through lifecycle of the trial

• Lead the study team through changes of scope for Digital Health, providing technical expertise on the change of scope, assessment of risk, oversight of system requirements updates and user acceptance testing

• Assist in the resolution of issues raised by study teams for processes owned, as well as cross-team specific issues under the supervision of the Digital Health Delivery Unit Lead

• Assist with inspection readiness activities as needed

• Monitor critical metrics for services provided by suppliers

• Conduct Lessons Learned sessions following the completion of study start-up activities, and, as necessary, throughout other phases of the clinical development process

• Optimally support the study team in close-out/deactivation of the Digital Health system and archive activities

• Continually review new emerging technologies focusing on efficiencies to be gained

• Ensure that principles of Credo and Business Conduct Policy, Purchasing Code of Conduct, Healthcare Compliance and Ethical Code of Conduct of Pharmaceutical Medicine are used in supplier relationships

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor's degree is required

Required:

  • A minimum of 4 years operational experience in clinical trials with a pharmaceutical company and/or a Clinical Research Organization
  • Demonstrated knowledge of clinical development processes, global clinical operations, and strategic planning
  • Familiarity with industry standard methodologies for vendor management
  • Strong project management skills and presentation skills with the ability to lead a team independently
  • Strong written and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of time (Domestic/International)

Preferred:

  • Experience with Digital Health Technology suppliers
  • Microsoft Project skills

The anticipated base pay range for this position in the US is $105,000 to $169,050.

*The compensation and benefits information set forth in this posting applies to candidates hired in the United States. Candidates hired outside the United States will be eligible for compensation and benefits in accordance with their local market.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.

• Vacation - up to 120 hours per calendar year

• Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays - up to 13 days per calendar year

• Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
