Job Description:
This project is part of the MedTech Digital Polyphonic Team, a world class team working with groundbreaking digital technology to deliver a sophisticated platform. The individual will lead multiple projects within Polyphonic and will be responsible for project managers/scrum masters.
In this role, you will lead all aspects of the program working closely with the Ottava Surgical Robotics team in enabling delivery of a comprehensive suite of digital offerings on Polyphonic. You are an expert in leading change by inspiring teams to implement innovative approaches to deliver software solutions to support J&J MedTech's digital strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Planning and Strategy:
- Lead coordination efforts across multiple programs, ensuring dependencies, risks, and milestones are well managed and aligned with broader business objectives.
- Responsible for developing comprehensive project plans, outlining key project objectives such as scope, timelines, resources, and risks.
- Implement a focused and agile approach to develop ideas and implement solutions that creates substantial business value
- Establishing project management methodologies, standard processes to ensure consistency, and quality across projects.
- Actively plan and drive cross-functional project teams to deliver quarterly goals according to plans and timelines.
Partner and Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Coordinate, collaborate and communication: Act as a liaison between other scrum teams, functional partners and broader program teams.
- Establish and maintain governance frameworks, cadences and reporting structures to provide leadership with clear visibility into cross department programs.
- Foster strong relationships and effective communication channels with internal and external collaborators/vendors to ensure project alignment and success.
Project Management and Reporting:
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and proactively develop mitigation strategies.
- Develop, track, and analyze program's key performance indicators including the effectiveness of technical strategies, project execution, to provide management detailed status updates. Champion transparency and accountability!
Qualifications
Required:
- Validated experience as a program leader or project manager, preferably in AI/ML digital programs and/or SAMD programs.
- A minimum of a BS in Electrical, Biomedical, Mechanical, Computer science Engineering or related field
- A minimum of 10 years of related industry experience.
- A minimum 5 years as a Project/Program Manager.
- Excellent verbal proficiency in written and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and be self motivated with a drive for results
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
Preferred:
- Exposure to new product development in a regulated industry is strongly preferred: Medical Device, Automotive, Aerospace, Aviation, etc.
- Familiarity with project lifecycle management (PLM) software, Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence collaborators at various levels of the organization.
- Experience with embedded systems, software development lifecycles.

The anticipated base pay range for this position in New Jersey is $166,000 to $ 267,145. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.
