The Senior Marketing Manager position is a key role within the US commercial marketing team for the Johnson & Johnson MedTech Neurovascular business. This position reports directly into Director of US commercial marketing. The position will be responsible to support day-to-day business and the development & execution of the commercial tools, programs, tied to the Ischemic portfolio strategy. The position will be an expert individual contributor who is viewed as a valuable resource by peers, who manages large projects or processes. They will serve as the subject matter expert on Product Management strategy and provide advanced insights into market performance and product trends and will act as a thought leader for the US market on product development and drives data driven solutions for stakeholders and consumers. The role will leverage analytics and reporting to develop go-to-market strategies for new products.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Johnson & Johnson MedTech Neurovascular Ischemic portfolio with the execution of US commercial marketing strategy, and customer centric programs in partnership with cross function partners.
  • Drive the Product Management strategy and employ a customer-centric approach that incorporates the latest innovations in research & customer insights.
  • Conduct advanced analysis at each stage of the product launch process cycle and generates summary reports on key performance indicators.
  • Facilitate cross-functional team planning and ensures readiness for product launches.
  • Evaluate market complexities and business issues and consult with stakeholders on optimal solutions.
  • Guide junior colleagues through consultation and mentoring in techniques and processes and provides functional (matrix) supervision.
  • Integrate Johnson & Johnson's Credo and Leadership Imperatives into team goals and decision making.
  • Advise senior management at each stage of the product development cycle and identifies key consumer behavior insights and market trends.
  • Manages daily Product Management operations under minimal supervision.
  • Partner with the US commercial leadership to discover breakthrough customer and category insights and trends to shape the marketing plan.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, and external partners to advance the day-to-day business for the US commercial marketing team.
  • Collaborate closely with all external partners and manage their timeline, budget, and deliverables.
  • Contribute to create and deliver growth opportunities through commercial innovation, and business continuity projects.
  • Monitor, analyze and report on business performance, market conditions and trends to inform marketing strategies; build cadence of communication with regional teams.
  • Creates presentations and reports that highlight key performance indicators and reflect the complexities of the market.
  • Utilizes predictive analytical tools to forecast product performance in the market and recommend product enhancements.


Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a BA/BS in Marketing or a related business field is required
  • Minimum 8 years of progressive experience within the marketing, or related field
  • MBA with a minimum of 5 years of marketing experience is highly preferred
  • Neurovascular experience preferred
  • Medical Device or healthcare marketing experience is required
  • Experience working in a global organization and collaborating with cross functional groups is preferred
  • Product launch experience is strongly preferred
  • Candidates must have effective communication and influencing skills, be able to work in a team environment, and be customer/market oriented
  • Ability to work within a team and lead a cross functional team in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Strong business analytics and forecasting, customer insights development, understanding of core marketing levers are required
  • Proven record of marketing including product positioning, and marketing campaigns with strong analytical skills (proficient in Excel, trending, statistical analysis, P&L analysis, and database exposure) to measure results required
  • Strong presentation skills, executive presence, customer relations skills, and consistent record of respect and connections with field organizations are required
  • Proven, strong competencies in results orientation, strategic thinking, analytical thinking, communication, sense of urgency, teamwork/collaboration and emotional intelligence are required
  • Project management capabilities - ability to manage complex project workstreams across multiple dimensions, with internal and external partners is preferred
  • Must possess demonstrated leadership and delivery of consistently strong results
  • Must live into core leadership behaviors of trust, agility, and ownership

This position is in Irvine, CA and requires up to 25% domestic travel including weekends.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $120,000 - $207,000

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.

• Vacation - up to 120 hours per calendar year

• Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington - up to 56 hours per calendar year

• Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays - up to 13 days per calendar year

• Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
