The Sr. Director, Value Stream and Business Capabilities Management is a strategic leadership role in the Integrated Business Management (IBM) group responsible for owning, managing, and optimizing the company's Value Stream Management (VSM) process, as well as ensuring the orchestration and alignment of business capabilities across the business units and functions. This role is pivotal in driving the continuous improvement of value streams' strategy and performance. Additionally, this role ensures that business's capabilities are managed in a way that meets strategic objectives and enhances operational efficiency. The Sr. Director will lead efforts to enhance cross-functional collaboration, monitor the performance of MedTech E2E Business processes, and ensure process adherence across business units and regions.

Key Objectives and Responsibilities
- Value Stream Management Ownership:
• Oversee the design, orchestration, and continuous improvement of Value Stream Management (VSM) across MedTech, including new product introductions and lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize value streams, monitor performance, and ensure consistent value delivery.
- Business Capabilities Orchestration:
• Align and integrate business capabilities with strategic priorities, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with functions to ensure support through appropriate technologies and processes.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Forge strong relationships with functional leaders to align value stream processes with business capabilities.
• Mentor teams executing within value streams and enhance collaboration across key business processes.
- Performance Monitoring:
• Establish KPIs to track VSM efficiency and adherence while regularly assessing performance for optimization.
• Ensure compliance with business capability standards and manage adherence reporting.
- Change Management and Governance:
• Lead change management for business capabilities and VSM processes, facilitating integration of new tools and practices.
• Conduct training and maintain governance forums for seamless process execution and support leadership with insights on adherence and outcomes.
- Strategic Planning and Digitalization:
• Contribute to the development of the IBM roadmap aligned with organizational goals and focus on sustainable decision-making.
• Create a digitalization roadmap to enhance the VSM process and facilitate transparent decision-making.
- Risk Management and Continuous Improvement:
• Identify and mitigate risks related to value stream performance.
• Promote continuous improvement initiatives to adapt value streams and capabilities to evolving business needs.
Qualifications
Required
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Engineering, Operations Management or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in supply chain management or operations
• 5+ years in people leadership positions
• Extensive experience in value stream management and process ownership, particularly in large-scale supply chain environments
• Proven track record in leading cross-functional teams to align business capabilities with strategic supply chain goals
• Deep understanding of Value Stream Management (VSM) methodologies and frameworks
• Expertise in business capabilities management, with a focus on driving operational excellence and strategic alignment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and influence across all levels of the organization.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and execute with precision.
• Strong project management capabilities and experience in driving cross-functional initiatives.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
• Direct NPI and IDP management or development experience
• 20 percent travel domestic and internationally, potentially
Preferred
• Master's degree or MBA
• Direct experience in multiple Medical Devices and or Diagnostics companies
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt certification.
• Successful experience in strategic planning and portfolio roadmap execution

• The anticipated base pay range for this position is 173000 to 299000.
