The Senior Director, GBP Global Segment Lead reports to the VP, GBP, and is primarily responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive brand protection solutions and GBP best practices crafted to counter the risk to patient safety and business value from counterfeit and illicit trade worldwide. Leads and supports a team of four Regional Directors (RD) of brand protection (NA, ASPAC, LATAM and EMEA, and their teams) each with cross-sector responsibility within one of J&J's principal worldwide markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• This role works closely with regional/local business leaders, Innovative Medicine and MedTech senior leaders, cross-functional stakeholders, and with each RD to ensure alignment around business objectives, brand protection risks and strategies, and project priorities within the Region.

• Responsible for implementation of agreed upon strategies and tactics across the Regions, and for meeting goals and objectives, as prescribed by the regional team and aligned to by the GBP Leadership team.

• Works with external agencies and partners to collect market intelligence, assess threats and vulnerabilities to J&J's supply chain, and generally improve its ability to detect, deter and prevent counterfeit and illicit trade.

• Will operate in connection with the Johnson & Johnson Enterprise Brand Protection Group and Brand Protection counterparts in other Segments and Regions of Johnson & Johnson to develop, leverage and implement strategic objectives in the following areas: Awareness and Training, Ensure functional knowledge of the risks and mitigating measures is communicated broadly internally to appropriate associates.

• Support awareness and communication programs to be deployed across multiple supporting departments such as Quality, distribution, supply chain, trade relations, legal, government affairs, commercial, and regulatory, as well as facilitate effective information sharing and coordination among Johnson and Johnson sectors.

• Supply Chain Integrity: implement the Johnson & Johnson endorsed set of GBP Best Practices. Also, assess vulnerabilities within the global supply chain and identify solutions to mitigate risks.

• Technology Application: Utilize his/her knowledge of overt, covert and forensic technologies, including track & trace and information technology systems to recommend appropriate application of such technologies for new and existing products to mitigate the risks of illegal diversion and counterfeiting in the marketplace.

• Market Monitoring and Incident Management: As incidents of suspected counterfeit are reported and captured in the QA data base, the Sr Director, will ensure the team works expeditiously with internal and external investigative resources to authenticate the product/package and take appropriate action. Record financial impact of illicit trade by country as well as the projected revenue recovered from counter-measures.

• Influencing Policy: The Sr Director will collaborate with governmental agencies in the United States and abroad to understand anti-counterfeiting laws and regulations and to enhance regulators' efforts to prevent or intercept illicit trade.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required. An advanced postgraduate is preferred.

• A minimum of 10 years relevant technical and business experience including experience in a supervisory role is required.

• Experience working within an industry in which one of the J&J sectors (Pharmaceutical or Medical Device) or other CPG participates is required.

• Prior work history in brand protection, Quality/compliance or investigations/enforcement is preferred.

• Multifunctional and multi-company experience at the Director/Senior Director level is required.

• Must have Sr. level leader experience in leading a global, diverse, multi-functional teams is required.

• Up to 25% overnight international and domestic travel.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $173,000 to $299,000.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.
