The Senior Analyst will lead the Electrophysiology supply planning and scheduling processes. This person will enable attainment of target service levels (as defined by the Operating Companies and Sector Planning organizations) while achieving target inventory objectives.
The Sr. Analyst prepares supply plans and production schedules for external & internal partners. Efficiently convert global demand requirements into an attainable supply plan for products manufactured. Build the monthly IBP/S&OP package for the key partners and will be responsible for the supply review meetings. The ability to work in a complex matrix and a worldwide network of external partners is a key requirement.
Responsibilities:
- Areas of responsibility include capacity planning, S&OP/IBP, production scheduling, inventory management, distribution, transportation, new product launch management and external partner order fulfillment.
- Support the design, development and institutionalization of a best practice global IBP/S&OP process with key external business partners for BWI's business.
- Collaborate with BWI Plan organization to formally receive WW demand plans; conducts formal planning process with external partners to rationalize supply and demand, taking into account capacity and inventory.
- Support the process to integrate new, externally manufactured products into the IBP/S&OP process. This includes conducting scenario-based supply analyses to evaluate launch options, supply events recovery projections and develop contingency plans with our external partners.
- Support best practices in external partner supply planning, including master scheduling, detailed scheduling, capacity planning and distribution planning.
- Complete complex spreadsheet analysis during issue resolution or scenario planning is required. This includes the ability to use the planning systems to gather the key data needed to drive business decisions.
- Support BWI PLAN and External Operations to achieve world class Customer Service, as well as inventory optimization efforts.
- Reporting and understanding Service Levels and inventory results; and vital actions to drive expected outcome. Additional responsibilities as assigned by Management.
- Establish and maintain effective communication and collaboration with Internal and External stakeholders (PLAN, QA, External Operations, CLS, and Suppliers) to drive cross functional alignment and support to deliver expected Customer Service levels.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree required. Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Logistics or Operations preferred.
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience in supply chain management, production planning, and/or materials management.
- Knowledge of manufacturing control systems, preferably JDE / Manugistics / SAP.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (i.e. Pivot tables and v-lookups)
- This position may require up to 10% domestic & international travel.
Preferred:
- APICS certification
- Experience and/or certification in Lean or Six Sigma processes
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $77,000 to $124,200.
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis. • Please use the following language:
