Duration: This position is a limited duration role for 2 years.

Position Overview: As the Senior Manager of Portfolio Strategy within our Global Strategic Marketing team for Wound Closure & Healing and Biosurgery, you will play a critical role in leading the evolution of our portfolio while shaping and implementing our transformation strategy within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Your leadership will influence cross-functional teams and guide strategic initiatives that align local market execution with global capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead a cross-functional team responsible for end-to-end project completion in the areas of Wound Closure & Healing and Biosurgery, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic objectives.
  • Direct Leadership of Commercial Portfolio Strategy Team: Provide direct leadership to the commercial portfolio strategy team, driving the development and execution of strategies that optimize market performance. This includes defining key performance indicators (KPIs), tracking progress, and ensuring alignment with global marketing objectives.
  • Market Strategy Development: Collaborate with regional and country leaders to develop and implement market transition strategies that reflect global portfolio optimization efforts tailored to local dynamics.
  • Forecasting and Planning: Partner with supply chain and commercial teams to develop accurate demand forecasts and effective capacity planning for product launches and portfolio transitions.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including R&D, supply chain, and regulatory teams, to facilitate code creation, product registration, and launch strategies.
  • Communication and Narrative Development: Synthesize data and insights into clear narratives for diverse audiences, including senior leaders and external partners, to foster alignment and drive action.
  • Performance Metrics and Reporting: Regularly review and update program documentation, providing regular updates to sponsors, and evaluating project impact against strategic objectives.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives that lead to improvements in execution capabilities across the portfolio, using standard methodologies and innovative solutions.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA) preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive business experience in healthcare, with a strong background in marketing, sales, or project management.
  • Proven experience in leading cross-functional projects and managing multiple priorities within a matrix organization.
  • People management experience is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and influencing skills with the ability to engage partners at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, coupled with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Previous experience in the Wound Closure and/or Biosurgery business is preferred.
  • Certification in Six Sigma/Process Excellence, FPX, or similar methodologies is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently while demonstrating a high degree of initiative and leadership in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in MS Office and project management software tools.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 30%
  • Occasionally, this position will require non-traditional hours to support markets in different time zones.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $120,000 - $207,000

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.
