Johnson & Johnson's Medical Devices Family of Companies is currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Manager of Network Excellence (This is a duration-based position for 12 months) to lead our capacity modeling, scenario analysis, project management, and support execution of Med Tech global operations strategies to deliver significant change through network optimization and other key opportunities. This role is pivotal in driving operational efficiency and effectiveness across our network operations by demonstrating standard methodologies, including lean manufacturing concepts and continuous improvement methodologies. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, validated project management abilities, and a passion for optimizing processes.

KEY ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Under limited supervision and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position provides the following:

CAPACITY MODELING:

Develop and implement comprehensive capacity modeling strategies to forecast and analyze network resource requirements.

Apply data analytics to identify trends and recommend improvements to optimize network performance.

SCENARIO ANALYSIS:

Conduct scenario analysis to assess potential impacts of various operational strategies on the overall network efficiency.

Present findings to senior management and collaborators to support decision-making processes.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT:

Lead and supervise multiple projects from initiation through execution, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scopes, objectives, and results.

PROGRAM EXECUTION:

Drive the execution of network excellence initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular updates and status reports to collaborators.

CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT:

Implement lean manufacturing concepts and other continuous improvement methodologies to find opportunities for process enhancements.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence throughout the organization.

STAKEHOLDER COLLABORATION:

Engage with internal and external partners to understand their needs and gather feedback for ongoing improvements.

Build strong relationships with key partners to facilitate successful project outcomes.

TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT:

Mentor and develop team members by providing guidance and training on best practices in network excellence and project management.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES

Scope includes all internal biosurgery manufacturing sites, together with support for External Manufacturing, Procurement and Planning (in terms of vertical integration strategy).

Qualifications

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required.

• Minimum of 8 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment is required

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) environment is required.

• Strong business acumen and the ability to use and learn new platforms such as PowerBI, Qlik, and MES is required.

• Knowledge of Process Excellence/Six Sigma/Lean tools and methodologies is required.

• Experience working in a highly regulated environment (i.e. FDA, ISO, etc.) is required

• Demonstrated success in leading and influencing others in a complex, cross-functional organization is required

• Proven expertise in capacity modeling and scenario analysis methodologies.

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Advanced degree (MA, MS, MBA) preferred.

• Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt of Black Belt certification preferred.

• Prior experience leading a team of technical resources (i.e. engineers, technicians) is preferred.

• Strong project management skills with experience leading cross-functional teams. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement frameworks (e.g., Six Sigma).

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing at all levels of the organization.

• Proficient in project management software and data analysis tools.

OTHER:

• Position could be based in few locations: Athens GA, San Lorenzo Puerto Rico, Raritan NJ.

• The anticipated base salary for New Jersey candidates is $120,000.00 to $182,700.00

• This position may require up to 25% Domestic and International travel.
